Nonprofit Building & Assets came about out of our desire to help churches end well. Once a church has shut down and donated their property, we work to leverage the property to continue to be a church until Jesus comes. We do this by finding a church plant that fits the community to flourish there.
The properties we receive are usually located in communities in transition. By putting the right church plants on the site, we accelerate their ability to reach the local community.
Once we receive a property, we do an in-depth community assessment to discern the demographics of the area. We then work to pair compatible church plants with the community. As we recycle churches to get the right plants into the right facilities, we multiply their effectiveness in expanding the Kingdom of God.
One of our church properties is in a distressed community of mainly Hispanic and Africain Americans. We had an Africain American church plant that was looking for a place to meet and relocated them to the church. Since then, the church has grown and has developed a large food distribution ministry serving the community.
We bring a vast network of relationships to help new church plants with their needs. With these relationships we mobilize partners to meet the needs of the community.
A church plant had been meeting in a school each week paying market price for rent. The school closed for renovations, and they needed a new place to meet. One of our properties was a perfect match for them demographically. The former church had a preschool which initially they were not interested in continuing. We brought in someone to run the school and it blossomed bringing young families into the church.
